The Les Mills Fund for Children works with carefully selected organisations who share our values and have the resources available to help children. LMFC raises money to fund other charitable projects within the UK. In order to raise money our dedicated team carry out a wide range of charitable work.

Our mission is to create a healthier and fitter planet and we want to make the opportunity available to everyone. Unfortunately, this isn’t always a reality so we want to do our bit to ensure as many children as we can get the opportunity to grow up healthy, fit and most importantly, happy.

WHAT DO WE FUND?

We award the funds we raise to registered charities and accountable non-profit organisations who we believe will do their most to improve the education and physical and emotional wellbeing of children aged 0-16. Your work may focus on one or more of these areas:

  1. Living in poverty
  2. Physical and mental health problems
  3. Health and wellbeing
  4. Living with disability

WHEN ARE THE APPLICATION DEADLINES?

Deadlines in 2019:

  • Friday 1st June 2019
  • Tuesday 18th November 2019

All applications must be submitted by 5pm on the deadline date. All applications are submitted online using our application form here.

Our advisory committee (AC) meets every 4 months to invite grant proposals from charities and individual projects, working in the youth health and fitness field. The AC comprises of senior Les Mills UK executives and independent experts in the fields of education, health and fitness. Its members evaluate the proposals and advise the board on the most appropriate areas for support.

HOW MUCH CAN YOU APPLY FOR?

We invite applications for up to £1,000. We want to support a wide range and number of youth causes that inspire children to get active. Please complete our online application form and submit it by 5pm on the day of the deadline. Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered in that quarter's grant round but will instead be moved to the following quarter.

HOW DO YOU APPLY?

To apply for a LMFC grant, please complete our online application form here. As part of the application, you will need to submit your charity's financial information, a breakdown of project costs and a case study and photos to support your application.

We no longer require charities to send us a hard copy of their application. All applications for LMFC grants are to be submitted online here.

Please note that you cannot save and return to the form once you have started completing the form.

If you have any questions about your application, or problems with the form, please email dami.bamidele@dmtfyp.org or phone 020 7605 7671.

CAN YOU REAPPLY?

If you are unsuccessful, we request that you wait 1 year before reapplying, allowing other causes to apply for support.

If you have received a grant, you are requested to submit a grant report form to dami.bamidele@dmtfyp.org once the project is complete. You may then apply for continuation funding, however there is no guarantee of continued support so this should not be planned for.
